CCTV News: According to China Weather Network, it is expected that starting today (February 14), the eastern part of the southwest region, Jiangnan, Jianghuai, South China and other places will usher in another obvious precipitation process, and heavy rain may occur in some places. Suppressed by frequent rains, the south will recover in the next few days; in comparison, most of the north will have a high heat up. However, as a new cold air affects the central and eastern regions, temperatures in various places will gradually decline in the next few days, and the temperature fluctuates.
The pace of recovery in the north and south is inconsistent. The sunny days in the north help to increase the temperature sharply. Yesterday was the first day of 79 and 9, and the impact of cold air has come to an end. The temperature in the north has begun to rise first, but the temperature in South China and other places still drops, with a local drop of about 15℃.
It is expected that today and tomorrow, most of the north will rebound faster during the day with the blessing of sunshine. Many places in Northeast China, North China, and the Huanghuai River will warm to a new height this year. Among them, the highest temperature in many parts of the North China Plain will approach or exceed 15℃. Among cities, the highest temperature in Beijing on the 15th could reach 13℃, which is much higher than in mid-February; the highest temperature in Zhengzhou is 17℃, and the weather is sunny and comfortable.
In contrast, most of the south are under frequent rain and heavy, and the recovery is weak. It is expected that the highest temperature in the eastern part of the southwest region to the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River will be only around 10℃. On the 16th, as the sky briefly clears, the temperature in the above areas will rebound significantly, and the highest temperature in most parts of Jiangnan will exceed 15℃.
However, in general, the recovery in the north and south is not reliable at this time, and the temperature in mid-to-late February is mainly "fast-paced". Starting from the 15th, as a new cold air affects the central and eastern regions, temperatures in various places will gradually decline. In the next few days, temperatures in most parts of the country will fluctuate, reminding the public to adjust their clothes in a timely manner according to temperature changes.
The south will be frequently checked in in the next week, and precipitation will be sparse in the north
Yesterday during the day, precipitation in the south occurred briefly. Monitoring showed that on the 13th, light to moderate snow or sleet occurred in some areas such as southern Qinghai, southeastern Gansu, northern western Sichuan Plateau, and eastern Tibet, and moderate to heavy rain occurred in some areas such as northwestern Yunnan and southeastern Tibet.
However, starting today, the eastern part of the southwest region, Jiangnan, Jianghuai, South China and other places will usher in another obvious precipitation process. Among them, heavy rain may occur in southeastern Guizhou, central Hunan, northern Jiangxi, and southern Anhui.
Specifically, the Central Meteorological Observatory predicts that today, there will be light snow or sleet in some areas of northeastern Inner Mongolia, northern Xinjiang and western southern Xinjiang, southern and eastern Tibet, southern and western Qinghai, western Sichuan Plateau, northwestern Yunnan, and other areas, including moderate to heavy snow in some areas of southeastern Tibet, western Sichuan Plateau, and northwestern Yunnan. There will be light to moderate rain in some areas such as the western part of the Jianghuai River, eastern Jianghan, most of the Jiangnan region, eastern Southwest region, most of the South China region, and Taiwan Island. Among them, there will be heavy rain in some areas such as northern Hunan and northern Jiangxi.

Tomorrow, there will be light to moderate snow in some areas of northeastern Inner Mongolia, central Heilongjiang, most of Tibet, eastern Qinghai, etc., among which there will be heavy snow in some areas of northeastern Inner Mongolia and other places. Light to moderate rain will occur in some areas such as most of the Jianghuai area, most of the Jiangnan area, and most of the South China area.

Overall, in the next week, my country will maintain a precipitation pattern of "less north and more south". The overall rainfall in the south is not strong, but the meteorological drought in southern Yunnan to southern China will be alleviated to a certain extent. It is still during the Spring Festival travel rush. The public needs to pay attention to the approaching weather forecast and traffic safety when going out.
