As of November 2024, localities have promptly arrested and repatriated more than 40,000 people involved in fraud in accordance with the law, prosecuted more than 29,000 people, and filed a public prosecution for the "Mingjia Cross-border Crime Cell in Northern Myanmar" in accordance with the law, demonstrating the firm determination to protect the lives and property of our country and citizens. Take the lead in jointly issuing the "Opinions on Several Issues Concerning the Application of Laws in Handling Cross-border Telecommunications Network Fraud and other Criminal Cases", clarifying judicial standards. Severely punish collaborative crimes that provide technical support, advertising promotion, transfer of stolen money, recruitment of personnel for telegraphic fraud activities in accordance with the law, and continue to send strong signals of being strict in accordance with the law.
Du Xueyi also stated that the procuratorate will further increase the intensity of punishment in accordance with the law, continue to promote the integrated promotion of combat, prevention, management and control, and severely punish telecommunications and network fraud and related crimes in accordance with the law.
