The measurement range of the reference device is 80 meters, and the error within the measurement range is only 2.45 microns, which is equivalent to a person identifying the diameter of hair from 1,600 meters, reaching the international leading level.
As the development demand of my country's large-scale equipment manufacturing industry expands, precision measurement technology continues to develop from conventional size measurement to large-size and large-space measurement. The measurement range of length precision measuring instruments has reached more than ten meters, dozens of meters or even hundreds of meters, and the measurement accuracy has developed from the order of millimeters to the order of micrometers, which has been increased by 3 orders of magnitude. However, the maximum range of the length measuring device with the highest accuracy in my country is only 1.2 meters, which cannot meet the needs of traceability of my country's large-length precision measuring instruments. The large-length reference device established this time fills the gap in the highest measurement capacity of large-length industries, greatly improves the accuracy and quality reliability of processing and assembly of key components of large-scale equipment such as spacecraft docking, aircraft wing body assembly, ship hull assembly, wind power blade curved profile detection, and impeller curvature measurement of hydropower turbines, and is of great significance to promoting the high-quality development of manufacturing.
