In answering questions about US ships passing through the Taiwan Strait, Guo Jiakun said that the Eastern Theater Command of the People's Liberation Army of China has responded. I want to emphasize that Taiwan is an inalienable part of China's territory. The Taiwan issue is not a question of freedom of navigation, but a question concerning China's sovereignty and territorial integrity. China firmly opposes any country provoking and threatening China's sovereignty and security in the name of freedom of navigation.
