At present, the national "vegetable basket" product production and supply foundation is solid, with the area of vegetables in the field 72.15 million mu, an increase of about 800,000 mu over the same period last year, and the production of meat, eggs, milk and aquatic products is stable.
After the Spring Festival, the wholesale market prices of "vegetable basket" products generally fell slightly. By variety, the average wholesale price of 28 kinds of vegetables monitored by key monitors was 5.5 yuan/kg, a month-on-month decrease of 1.6%; the average wholesale price of 6 kinds of fruits monitored by key monitors was 7.82 yuan/kg, a month-on-month decrease of 1.6%; the average wholesale price of pork wholesale market was 23 yuan/kg, a month-on-month decrease of 0.6%.
In the next step, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs will work with relevant departments to tighten the mayor's responsibility system for the "vegetable basket", pay close attention to weather changes and market trends, guide production entities to reasonably arrange the variety structure and planting scale, arrange the vegetable market schedule, and promote balanced supply. Do a good job in monitoring the price of fresh agricultural products in major wholesale markets in large and medium-sized cities, and at the same time increase the intensity of agricultural product quality and safety monitoring and sampling and speed measurement of drug residues, so as to keep the bottom line of agricultural product quality and safety from the source.
