The fire department has strengthened fire prevention patrols and hidden dangers in scenic spots and lantern festivals and temple fairs to ensure the safety of personnel and prevent fires.
In the past few days, the Bailuyuan Lantern Festival in Dongying, Shandong Province, covers an area of more than 70,000 square meters, has appeared in more than 20 large-scale light groups. The scene is full of brilliance, presenting a dazzling visual feast to citizens and tourists. Local fire protection, public security, power supply and other departments jointly intervened to conduct safety inspections on the power consumption equipment and fire protection facilities at the festival event site, and guide the organizers to investigate and rectify safety hazards at the site.



In the past two days, the brilliant lantern festival of the Tang Dynasty Furong Garden in Xi'an, Shaanxi was staged in a wonderful manner. The park has 40 sets of cultural lanterns and more than 10 folk activities, attracting many tourists to come and watch. The fire department dispatches three 15-person duty teams every night to inspect key parts of the park and areas with dense flow of personnel to help the scenic spots eliminate hidden dangers in a timely manner.


In Haiyan, Zhejiang, Jianou, Fujian, Xuzhou, Jiangsu and other places, folk activities on the Lantern Festival were staged lively, the flow of people in scenic spots increased dramatically, and the use of fire and electricity was frequent, and the risk of fire increased. In response to the dense crowds of people in the lantern venues and large amounts of fire and electricity consumption, the local fire protection and power supply departments jointly investigated the fire and electricity equipment of snack streets and restaurants around the temple fairs and lantern festivals, and promptly urged merchants to rectify the problems found.
