The reporter learned from Yungang Research Institute that Yungang Research Institute plans to carry out archaeological investigations of caves 1 and 2. In order to ensure the safety of tourists and cultural relics, it is decided to take temporary closure measures for caves 1 and 2 from February 11 and resume opening after the work is completed.

Casts 1 and 2 are caves at the easternmost end of Yungang Grottoes. They are a group of double caves, excavated from 471 to 494 AD. A bright window is opened on the cave and a cave door is opened on the bottom. The plane is square and the roof is flat. The central tower column reaches the top of the cave. The four walls are niches to form statues. This is a typical tower temple cave.
