CCTV News: According to the State Administration for Market Regulation, before the Lantern Festival, the State Administration for Market Regulation organized a special random inspection of Lantern Festival and Tangyuan nationwide, and the results showed that the pass rate was 100%.
This random inspection randomly inspected 45 batches of Lantern Festival and Tangyuan products produced by 37 food companies in supermarkets, pastry shops and other business places. The products cover brands with a wide circulation range and large market sales volume. The food additive indicators such as saccharin and pigments that people care about (saccharin sodium, saccharin, bright blue, lemon yellow, sunset yellow, amaranth red), as well as peroxide values that affect the quality and safety of Lantern Festival and Tangyuan. After inspection, all 45 batches of products are qualified products.
The State Administration for Market Regulation will continue to do a good job in food quality and safety supervision to ensure the "safety on the tip of the tongue" of the people.
