At present, the crew is in good health and there are no signs of fuel leakage in the stranded waters. The shipping company to which the stranded cargo ship is coordinating with relevant Russian departments to arrange rescue work.

According to the Chinese Consulate General in Vladivostok, the cargo ship carries about 50 tons of diesel and 700 tons of heavy oil. The cargo ship encountered 8 to 10 meters high waves during its voyage. After being forced to break down, it was swept by wind and waves and stranded near the port of Neversk on Sakhalin Island. The 20 crew members on board were in good health and there was no fuel leak in the ship. Due to weather reasons, divers were unable to go into the water to confirm the damage to the hull.

Sakhalin Governor Limarenko posted on social media on the 10th that due to the continued strong storms at sea and low visibility, rescuers and divers are temporarily unable to access the stranded ships, and further rescue will be carried out when the weather conditions improve.
