On February 10, Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Guo Jiakun presided over a regular press conference. A reporter asked questions about the visit of Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi to Ireland.

In this regard, Guo Jiakun said that Ireland is China's reciprocal strategic partner, and China-Iran relations have developed well in recent years. Last year, the two countries jointly celebrated the 45th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations. Foreign Minister Wang Yi's visit is the time when the new Irish government is established. China looks forward to continuing to build consensus with Iran, expand cooperation, enhance friendship, promote the better and faster development of the China-Iran mutual strategic partnership, and make new contributions to the healthy and stable development of China-EU relations.
