2. Private business owner Yuan Yurong bribed leading cadres for the project. In order to ensure that his company won the bid for the lighting quality improvement and renovation project in Hongjiang District, Huaihua City, Yuan Yurong submitted a request to Huang Fuyuan (handled in another case), the then Party Secretary and Director of the District Housing and Urban-Rural Development Bureau, and promised to give a proportional benefit fee based on the winning amount of the project. Huang Fuyuan used his position to help Yuan Yurong tie the bid and win the project. Afterwards, Yuan Yurong gave Huang Fuyuan property many times. In May 2024, the company and Yuan Yurong were transferred to the procuratorate for review and prosecution for legal review and prosecution.
3. Supplier Huang Bin gained a competitive advantage through bribery in the medical equipment procurement project. 4. Private business owner Liu Maosheng transferred interests to the owner unit to undertake the business. In order to carry out long-term cooperation with Hengyang First People's Hospital and supply medical equipment and consumables, Liu Maosheng promised Li Dongyou (handled in another case) the then director of a department of the hospital to give some technical service fees to the department as a rebate. Afterwards, his company transferred profits many times in the name of "distribution of performance". In May 2024, the company and Liu Maosheng were transferred to the procuratorate for review and prosecution for lawful review and prosecution.
5. Private business owner Liu Feixian gained a competitive advantage through bribery in the project evaluation business. 6. Salesman Xiao Qihan avoided bidding by bribery while undertaking engineering projects.
