CCTV News: According to the official WeChat account of the Sichuan Provincial Communications Administration, on February 8, 2025, a mountain collapse occurred in Jinping Village, Muai Town, Yunlian County, Yibin City, Sichuan Province. A total of 3 base stations were withdrawn from service in the affected area, and the optical cable was damaged by 7.5 kilometers.
As of 16:00 on February 9, all the base stations and damaged optical cables have been reopened and restored. At present, the public communication network in the affected areas has fully recovered to the pre-disaster level.
