CCTV News: Data released by the Ministry of Transport shows that on February 8, 2025 (the 26th day of the Spring Festival travel rush, the 11th day of the first lunar month), the cross-regional personnel flow in the whole society was 205.678 million, a month-on-month decrease of 2.5%, an increase of 17.3% over the same period in 2024.
>>The railway passenger volume was 13.184 million, a month-on-month decrease of 7.5%, and a decrease of 1.5% from the same period in 2024.
>>The flow of highway personnel (including the travel volume of non-commercial passenger buses on expressways and ordinary national and provincial highways and commercial passenger traffic) was 189.36 million, a decrease of 2.2% month-on-month and an increase of 19.1% over the same period in 2024. Among them, the number of business passengers on highways was 30.27 million, a month-on-month decrease of 2.1%, an increase of 13.2% over the same period in 2024; the number of non-commercial passenger buses on expressways and ordinary national and provincial highways was 159.09 million, a month-on-month decrease of 2.2%, an increase of 20.3% over the same period in 2024.
