CCTV News: The Boao Forum for Asia 2026 Annual Conference will be held from March 24th to 27th. Currently, various preparatory work has entered the sprint stage. Starting from March 22, participants from all over the world have arrived one after another, and Hainan has ushered in the peak of arrivals for the forum’s annual meeting.

At 7:30 on March 22, flight HU448 from Singapore arrived smoothly at Haikou Meilan International Airport. At the Boao Forum for Asia special inspection channel, the police on duty at the Meilan Entry-Exit Border Inspection Station quickly handled the entry formalities for the first batch of guests attending the conference. An incoming passenger said that the entry procedures were simple and customs clearance was fast. He was looking forward to his trip to Hainan.

The reporter learned that the three major international airports, Haikou Meilan, Qionghai Boao and Sanya Phoenix, are the key entry and exit ports for this annual meeting. Since March 22, they have successively welcomed guests from various countries. At present, various airports and ports in Hainan have opened special inspection channels for the forum’s annual meeting. At the same time, for those who have not applied for a visa in advance and urgently need to come to China, the review of the issuance of port visas and temporary entry permits will be strengthened to ensure the efficient entry of delegates. Kuang Guoren, director of the Meilan Entry-Exit Border Inspection Station, introduced that Meilan Airport has opened 21 entry channels, mobilized business backbones to form an inspection team, strengthened foreign affairs etiquette training, and conducted multiple synthetic drills to ensure smoother connection between all links and more convenient port clearance.
