The "circle of friends" of China-Europe freight trains continues to expand.The two China-Europe freight train stations within the Guangzhou Customs District, Guangzhou International Port and Nansha Port South Station, form a total of 24 operating lines with "17 outbound and 7 inbound", serving more than 20 countries in Eurasia.From the single export route, single exit port, and single cargo source structure in the early days of its operation, Guangzhou China-Europe Railway Express has now built a multi-directional access pattern with "three channels" in the west, middle and east of the country, and "seven ports" in Manzhouli, Erenhot, Alashankou, Horgos, Suifenhe, Pingxiang, and Mohan.

The scale of train operations has increased and the freight structure has been optimized.Early export goods were mainly labor-intensive products such as clothing, shoes, and toys.Today, electronic products, new energy vehicles, precision machinery, etc. have become the main export forces."The export performance of smart home appliances and commercial vehicles is outstanding. Since this year, we have supervised a total of 3,480 cars exported through China-Europe freight trains. New business formats and new models continue to enrich the connotation of channels.Take the China-Europe freight trains at Guangzhou International Port as an example. The types of freight trains have expanded from traditional general cargo to cross-border e-commerce, international postal parcels and other special trains.Among them, cross-border e-commerce special trains have been operated on a regular basis. The value of e-commerce goods shipped in the first seven months of this year has reached nearly three times the total volume of last year.Railway train transportation is also connected with road transportation and international shipping to create a multimodal transport system.

As the line network of trains continues to become denser, and customs preferential policies such as rapid railway customs clearance and freight deductions for import domestic sections have taken effect, the return supply market has been activated, and import trains have experienced significant growth.In the first seven months of this year, the number of TEUs of return import cargo at Guangzhou International Port accounted for nearly 30% of the total TEUs shipped.
