Artificial intelligence-related products drive foreign trade growth

CCTV News (News Broadcast): Since this year, my country's artificial intelligence-related products and services are accelerating their entry into the international market, becoming a new driving force for foreign trade growth.

In Shanghai Lingang, relying on the computing power service here, high-precision scanning data from Cambodia's Angkor monuments are being turned into three-dimensional scenes. Soon, audiences around the world will be able to immerse themselves in the digital space to experience the beauty of this world cultural heritage.

Also in Lingang, nearly 400 algorithm engineers are training professional large models for overseas users, covering fields such as autonomous driving, intelligent manufacturing, and medical care. Behind this, electricity and computing power are being transformed into high value-added digital services that can be traded across borders and called globally. While computing power services are accelerating overseas, smart products on my country’s export list are also performing very well. From computer parts and electronic components to industrial robots and 3D printers, the export of high-tech and high-value-added artificial intelligence products is growing rapidly, and the industry is moving towards the mid-to-high end. Data show that in the first four months of this year, my country's integrated circuit exports increased by 78.3% year-on-year, industrial robot exports increased by 30% year-on-year, and 3D printer exports increased by 110.4% year-on-year.
