CCTV news (News Broadcast): During the May Day holiday, from flower viewing in the park to fun sightseeing in the mountains and rivers, from the rush of checking in in big cities to leisurely roaming in small towns, the motherland is full of vitality. Various regions have launched a variety of cultural and tourism activities to add excitement and vitality to the holidays.

Beijing's outings are hot during the May Day holiday. Beijing has integrated 27 tourist and leisure greenways and 129 surrounding specialty rural cafes to provide tourists with more vacation options. In the Miyun Reservoir area, people walk in the valley, ride in the forest, and explore at low altitude, getting close to nature and enjoying the beautiful scenery in all aspects. Zhongshan, Guangdong relies on the beautiful waterfront scenery to create a new waterfront cultural tourism scene. The banks of the rivers have been transformed into coffee and concert halls, with food and cultural and creative stalls full of fireworks. Citizens and tourists stroll along the river, taste food, listen to music, and enjoy a pleasant holiday.

The farming activities in the Longji terraced fields in Longsheng, Guangxi attract many tourists. Farming songs echoed in the terraced fields. Along with plowing, opening gates and releasing water, twelve ancient farming processes were carried out in an orderly manner, outlining a vivid farming picture. The Gannan tea-picking opera is performed wonderfully in the mountains and rivers of Anyuan, Jiangxi. Visitors can enjoy the beautiful scenery, appreciate the cultural charm, and participate in activities such as starry sky concerts in century-old Hakka houses.

During the holidays, many parent-child families walked into cultural venues. Hainan Science and Technology Museum launched a science carnival, themed exhibitions, challenges, flash mobs and other activities for everyone to enjoy. The newly unveiled Chang'e-5 returner and parachute exhibits became the focus of the audience, attracting tourists to take photos. During the May Day holiday, 12 popular cultural and museum venues in Jilin City have extended their opening hours until 9 p.m. The Meteorite Museum uses high-tech exhibition design of sound and light to immersively restore the interstellar scenes of the universe and light up the dream of the starry sky for tourists. Henan Xixia Dinosaur Relics Park integrates the elements of "technology + culture + tourism" to create a unique project, upgrading traditional sightseeing into an immersive prehistoric time travel experience, and is favored by parent-child families and research groups.
